Mitel Semiconductor's silicon SLICs deliver highly reliable ringing at competitive cost for telecommunications access applications. The products are part of Mitel Semiconductor's strategy to provide a complete range of line card interfaces between a switching system and subscriber loop in short- to mid-range telecommunications applications. One recent addition is a fully featured SLIC that uses an advanced ringing architecture to improve performance while integrating full functionality into a very compact, off-the-shelf device.
